LUNA STUDIO FAQ

HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING AT LUNA STUDIO SYDNEY?

Step 1: Check the calendar on the website and check which dates are available.

Step 2: Email us the dates that you like and we will confirm availability and send you an invoice for deposit.

Step 3. Pay your deposit. Bookings are confirmed once the deposit or full payment is made.

DO I NEED A DEPOSIT?

Yes $300. Deposit is not refundable. Full payment made 4 to 6 weeks before hire date

DO YOU TAKE COMMISSION?

No commissions are taken from your work or products. 

WHEN CAN I START INSTALLING MY EXHIBITION OR POP UP?

Bump In is from the date your booking starts (not from the day before) from 9am onwards

WHEN DO I NEED TO BUMP OUT?

Bump Out is from the date your booking ends (not from the next day). You can bump out after 6pm till 9pm

WHO MANAGES THE SPACE?

The artist/hirer manages the space for their hire period.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HIRE?

Costs are at a flat rate per day, weekend or week (check the price section on the website).

WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS?

Opening hours are from 10am to 6pm and you can hold an opening night event that stays open until 9pm.

WHAT OPTIONS DO I HAVE TO HANG OR DISPLAY MY ART WORK?

There is a hanging system in place for frames and canvases.

You can also use magnets and/or removable sticky hooks for light frames/canvases (no drilling in the walls)

There are a few plinths and tables available to use for things like sculptures, and pamphlets.

IS THERE A KITCHEN AND BATHROOM?

Yes. There is a small kitchen and bathroom which can be used in the back section.

CAN WE HAVE DRINKS AT STUDIO?

We don't have a liquor licence.

However you can provide alcohol to people you know as a complimentary drink on opening nights.

Alcohol can not be taken outside the studio.

You connect sell drink or Advertise your drinks

WHAT IF I DAMAGE SOMETHING?

You are responsible for damages to the space as well as your own Art or Items.

You will need to replace it or pay for the damage.

IS THERE WIFI?

YES there is free wifi.

DO YOU HAVE A PAYMENT SYSTEM?

The studio doesn't have a payment system for your personal sales.

You can borrow our square payment system and link it to your account.

Its easy and fast for card and tap payments.

CAN I PUT A HOLD ON A DATE?

Unfortunately not. Bookings are on a first come first serve basis.

DO I NEED A PROPOSAL FOR MY EXHIBITION OR POP UP EVENT?

No proposals needed but a quick chat or description of what your planning would be helpful. 

DO I NEED TO SEE THE SPACE IN PERSON BEFORE BOOKING?

It's highly recommended. We want to make sure its a right fit for you!
